Sonography for TTTS

Enclosed are the questions to review with the diagnosed parents at each ultrasound. We have also duplicated the questions with the reasons why each subject is important to the parents to understand.

We will be working with sonographer Terry DuBose to add to the ultrasound section. Subjects will include the following: the question form as a chart to fill out; pictures of normal, absent diastolic flow and reverse flow dopplers; pictures of poly-olihydramnious; pictures of normal and enlarged hearts; pictures of visible and nonvisible bladders; journal articles on the importance of dopplers prior to 20 weeks; and a sample ultrasound report describing the definitions of the abbreviations.

"We are thankful to the TTTS Foundation for being there for us; providing support to Chris and I and our families, and helping us ask the questions that needed to be asked."
